I am thankful for second chances. I, myself, have needed many second chances. So many that they probably shouldn't be called second chances anymore.
But, today, we get to celebrate a different kind of second chance. The happy kind. For in just a few short hours, my mother-in-law and her finace will be getting married. Both lost their spouse too soon. Both were happy living alone, enjoying their grandchildren and their great grandchildren. But once they found each other, they decided they didn't want to live alone anymore, that they wanted to spend the rest of their life together.
So, here's to second chances of the happy kind.
Congratulations, Grams & Paul!
