Day 23: Gratitude

I am so thankful for family traditions. Today we descended upon my brother-in-law's house with food and our $1 entry fee to the 12th Annual Horseshoes Tournament. There was turkey {one baked, one smoked}, Lori's mashed potatoes, Brandy's wonderful rolls, Gail's pineapple, er, ah, casserole?, well, whatever you call it, its yummy. The tournament, which is a family favorite, finished up before dusk. There was lots of friendly banter and several ringers. And the day ends with a fire in the firepit.
