Thankfulness: Day 10

I am so thankful for my wonderful husband. He is a man of many talents, some of which are mechanical and that definitely saves us money, especially if ebay is involved. He is generous with his time and talents, something he learned first hand from his father. But he also shares my desire to care for our parents as we all get older (as I was taught from my parents).

This past weekend, Keith installed a new toilet in my parents downstairs bathroom while we all watched. This took up most of Sunday afternoon. Pappy kept him company and asked questions, Grammy kept the kittens out of the bathroom, I knitted on my sweater, Leah worked, and Justin and Emma watched TV. Grammy had bought the toilet last Monday and locked it in the bathroom so that none of the parts would go missing, so she was happy to be able to leave the bathroom unlocked again.
