First Tomato

We've got our first tomato from the garden. Yeah! We do have to pick them a little early so the birds don't get them, so we will have to wait before we can eat this one.

The pumpkin plant is growing quite quickly. We are just now getting temperatures over 100 degrees, so we'll see if it can continue to grow quickly and look healthy getting the hot afternoon sun. The cantaloupe is growing well, but doesn't get as much afternoon sun so it is a little behind the pumpkin. That may be to its advantage as it gets hotter, since it doesn't get the afternoon sun. We'll see.
