Days of Gratitude: Sunday Afternoon Naps

I took a nap this afternoon after church and our weekly Costco run. And I have to say, I love naps! I don't understand why kids fight them.

My favorite time in my life was when I was working part-time with Fridays off. On Friday, I ran errands and ate lunch with Emma after picking her up from preschool. After lunch, she would get her 'friends' and line them up on the pillow and all of us would nap until it was time to pickup everyone up from school. Quite frankly, both of us needed the nap otherwise either one of us {or both of us} would be cranky.

Ah, those were the days.
