Mini Daffodils

When I ran up to the grocery store on Saturday to get a few things for the party, I was tempted. They had an assortment of small bulbs already potted and flowering. I ask, how could I resist?

So after we did a little cleaning, I grabbed my camera, our card table and a black tablecloth and took some pictures outside.

When I brought the flowers inside and set them by the window that is near the kitchen sink (which is the only place in the house anything green has even a chance to live under my care), I really liked how the light lit up the petals, so I took more pictures.

These flowers are already dying back but there are a few buds left that will bloom soon. But I hope to save the bulbs and plant them next year.
