Last Bit of Summer (Wishful Thinking)

Even though it is not cooling down yet here (we still are not down into the double digits), here's to hoping that summer is behind us and cooler weather is before us!

These pictures come from June and have been lost on my computer.

Pixie didn't show as much interest in this mushroom, but I still like taking pictures of them.

Right now, our lantana are looking a little tired of the hot weather too, so its nice to look back to a time when they were fresh.

Ah, bougainvillea.

Here's to rainy days, fires in the fireplace, books to curl up with and blankets to curl up in!

Or, if we can't have any of that soon, I'll take 90 degrees please.

Autumn arrives in early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day.
