Out Past the Power Plant

Tuesday was Justins football game and we had quite a drive after work to get there. We didn't arrive until about a minute left in the first half. The team spends half time listening to coach in the end zone (cool how Justin happens to be one of the only one standing, eh?).

Grams bought dinner and it was yum. Sandwiches, chips and drink.

The game was way out, just past the nuclear power plant and there were no (tall) buildings around so we had an unobstructed view of a beautiful sunset. It seemed to hang in the sky for hours.

But, sooner than we were expecting, Justin was playing. Keith took over the camera and took the video of the plays. Justin picked out two plays that were his faves to share with you (and Leah).

In this first clip, Justin is the closest one to us on the line.

In this clip, Justin follows his teammate for the touchdown. Watching Justin run, really run, is a treat. He has really worked hard to get where he is now.

When he saw this clip, he says, 'I could have run faster'. Love that.

Emma was not in a picture taking mood at this point in the night.

But the rest of the fans were.

And, sooner than you know it, the game is over.

The post game shot. The cheerleaders give gifts (of food) to the players each game. Someone must have told them that the way to a man's (football player's) heart is through his stomach. Tonight, it was brownies and Justin specifically wanted a pic with the brownies. I think they were a hit.

And, now Emma allowed a picture.
