Celebrations

With Leah graduating and Justin turning 16, we have a lot to celebrate. Last Saturday, we had the family over to celebrate both Leah's accomplishment and Justin's survival. I love that we live near family and that they are apart of these milestone celebrations as well as the daily gatherings.

First, the girls colored. They shared and played well together. They giggled and laughed loudly. It was way too cute. And, when Keith finished getting the jumpy setup, the noise (and girls) went outside.

Its a lot of hard work for Keith to set up and put away, so I'm real thankful that he was willing to do squeeze that in since he had a lot to do for this party. You'll see his handiwork later (the food, which was yum).

And its not just the jumpy that has to be put together and tacked down. We've got beach balls that need to be blown up. These are then played with inside the jumpy and thrown inside/outside through the holes in the top of the jumpy. Lots of fun for the kiddos but not as easy as it seems. Or maybe that's just me.

I can't get over how grown up Presley is!

Chase was moving slower than his normal never-slow-down pace. The jumping girls were a little too much for him. But, he did find a game that he liked. He'd bring the beach balls to Grammy, she'd throw it into the jumpy, the girls would throw it out, and he'd chase it down again. It was very cute.

Tyler is such the cutest imp!

Keith really did a good job with the food! He grilled the burgers a head of time and we stashed them in a chaffing dish to keep them warm. That took so much time pressure off and I think we'll be doing that more often.

And, yes, that is a Christmas towel (or is it a placemat? I've never been sure. It's Emma's) on the oven.

And, in case we forgot that this was a party for Leah and Justin, here is proof that they were there and that I actually took pictures of them.

We decided that instead of cake, we'd have brownies and ice cream for desert. Now, that is yummy goodness!

There were only a few brownie pieces left over from the party, and those were gone in a day.
