. . . and we cheered like we were going to win with about two and a half minutes left in the game. The loss is heartbreaking but I know I'd rather lose in the last seconds of the game than be blown out and have everyone say we had no business being there.
With that said, we did have people over to watch the game, but after the loss, I just didn't have the will to even take any more pictures than the one above.
And, my public apologies to my sister for commenting on her blog about the heartbreaking day so late in the evening without any context that prompted a late night call to make sure that nothing really importantly bad had happened.

my heart has stopped racing. and i am so glad that the only heartbreak was from a football game instead of a situation. you are forgiven. and yes, i was heartbroke from the game. or maybe i was in denial of the loss when i read your comment to my post...
