A little sparkling apple cider last night . . .
. . . and a little more this morning along with some fresh squeezed orange juice for some Mimosas.
Emma's friend had brought what we thought were sparklers. They ended up being candles that sparkle, which was a little disappointing for our celebration last night. But this morning, they were a fun addition to breakfast.
An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in.
A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.
