Where to put my stash?

We are in the process of moving from our guest room back into the master bedroom. Renovations on the master bathroom are not finished in the slightest, but how many years can you live in the guest room? We maxed out at 9 years.

So, I am cleaning out my closet and trying to find out where should all my stuff go. I've made some progress, moving out bathroom and household supplies into the laundry room. Now, I've got to address my stash. For me, my stash is 4 boxes of yarn plus another bag of donated yarn. Perhaps your stash is made up of something different, but you know the problem. How can I use up my stash? Can I justify using up an entire shelf in the master bedroom closet?

I think I may procrastinate and work on finding a spot for the summer swim toys/beach towels.
