Lookie what I made

I just finished up this crocheted afghan. Its the Garden Drama pattern from the pattern book A Crocheter's Garden of Afghans. It is made of hexagons granny 'squares' and a ripple in between. I even tied down each petal of the flower (12 points per flower) so that the flowers laid nicely.

It's for Leah. It was going to be a surprise but she asked me one time who I was making it for and I thought she had recognized the pattern (she was the one to pick it out the pattern).

Now I get to start on the knitted sleeveless sweater Coachella. Its summery and I won't get to wear it for a while, that is if I finish it any time soon.
