Rainbows and Promises

I've been loving the rain, especially since I haven't had to be out in it too much. We've had nice fires in the evening in honor of el niño and the last bits of 'winter'. And, on the car ride home after we left my sister's house last weekend, we saw this rainbow in the sky.

Beautiful.

The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow,
but the rainbow won't wait while you do the work.
