What a difference a week makes. Last week, the pumpkin was growing bigger each day. This week the temperatures hit 112 and the pumpkin plant started dying. I'm afraid to say that it's not going to make it.
Apparently, 300lb pumpkin growing plants don't grow well in the desert. Bummer.
Oh, Great Pumpkin, please don't let me down!

Hiya. was looking on raverly and saw that you were in glendale hought see your blog!Really sorry to see your pumpkin isnt making it here in the desert!Maybe it will come out of it!I tried a couple of times to grow things started in march and then in the shade under trees. just never got any pumpkins to grow.
