I've love the bougainvillea flowers. I've tried to get a print of them but I've not been satisfied with the way the professional printers handle their color. Even with this, the plant by our back door tempts me when I come home from work.
We've heard that bougainvillea will put out more flowers during a drought, so the Arizona summer (and Keith's I-don't-want-any-wimpy-plants watering philosophy) has made for lots of beautiful flowers.
And its been a good opportunity to practice depth of field (or as I would say - getting that nice fuzzy background look) and the bokeh (or the lovely little drops of light in the background).
Love is the only flower that grows and blossoms
Without the aid of the seasons.
