Animals at the State Fair

So, we went to the State Fair this year, probably the first time since my oh-so talented niece Michelle stopped singing at the fair.

And we went for a specific reason...

That's right,

Indian Fry Bread [IMG_9317]

Indian Fry bread!
{which we got as soon as we arrived. It was piping hot and very tasty!}

Well, that and...

... to see all the livestock, which does happen to be one of my favorite reasons for going to the fair, second to Indian Fry bread {which comes second to wining red ribbons}.

Cute bunnies... but no chickens that day. In fact, there were not many animals at the fair at all. It may have been because it was the second day of the fair?

I didn't think you could enter other state's fairs, but apparently I was wrong.

Keith and some random kid {isn't that what always happens!?!} over by the bulls.

They were massive.

After looking at the animals, we went on a hunt for my mittens, which did take some time and we saw some really neat submissions in many categories. Next year, I may enter multiple items...

But that is for another day.
To enter Europe, you must have a valid passport with a photograph of yourself in which you look like you are being booked on charges of soliciting sheep.
